gonna put up xmas lights for the first time I think. never really had a house of my own before, the last several months have been a real effort to turn it into a home and away from the college-dorm style life I'd been living for 10+ years. I'm not particularly festive or anything, just all my neighbors have lights up, w/e. I first realized I had no idea where to even buy christmas lights and first tried home depot because I was there for something else anyway. Found their selection very poor and overpriced, so I guess I'll try target today.
I just need like 75 feet of basic ass lights for less than $40. doable right?

I golfed a full 18 yesterday (shot +10 on the front almost entirely due to abysmal putting - i had 3 four putts), then somehow went 1 under holes 9-15 and then crumbled the last few for +15 which I’m damn happy with to recover from such a disaster of a front 9 after not playing for so long.
left knee felt great (I just had it replaced). previously towards the end of a round I’d be hobbling, but it felt great and now the next day still no pain or even any soreness. i know it might not sound like much but it’s absolutely incredible to me and lifted my spirits greatly.
i had a few absolutely wild putts. made not one but two 25ish footer that broke like 7 feet and it dripped into the cup, those are nearly 0% make for me so I think I figured something out but for whatever reason I could barely even tap it in without missing all day on the short putts. if it werent for all the putts that round was like +5ish, because I hit nearly every fairway and green in regulation, lol. an old guy in front of me kept giving me finger guns every time he saw me hit the green and it cracked me up.
love this game!
